Canada WALK OF FAME this sunday at 8pm.

Canada's Walk of Fame honours the best in Canadian talent in the field of entertainment, sports, literature, science and all walks of Canadian brilliance. This year's awards are hosted by Howie Mandel who returns for a second time as the host of Canada's version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Mandel, who's a Walk of Fame inductee himself, says it's an honour to be invited back for a second year to entertain and award Canadians for their talent.

Phil Hartman plaque in Brantford Ontario...

As much as I hated living in Brantford growing up, it had it's pro's and it was just not known for Wayne Gretzky and the Telephone. Jay Silverheels who played Tonto in the Lone Ranger, Scott Wilson and Justine Lukach from "Departures" and many more.

I can remember finding out Hartman was from Brantford at the time of his death. This was extremely sad as Phil was a extremely talented actor/comedian.

And finally, Phil's plaque in his hometown. This was the only public memorial to Phil, until the city of Brantford removed all the plaques in the downtown area awaiting a more suitable and expansive park setting for its Walk of Fame. Phil's fans have been working tirelessly to get him a star on Canada's Walk of Fame, as well as the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The motto for 2012 is All for Phil. Lights was born in Timmins, Ontario. Her parents are of German and Austrian descent. She was raised by missionary parents and spent much of her childhood in various parts of the world, ranging from the Philippines toJamaica to Ontario and Vancouver.^[4] Since the mid 2000s, she has lived in Toronto and had changed her legal name to Lights. When asked about changing her name, she said her former name was a chapter of her life that was over; it was an easy change for her to go through and seemed almost natural. In multiple interviews, she stated that the changing of her name has great significance for her.^[5][6][7]

In a self-interview she asked herself about her first song and said "I was 11, and I learned three chords on the guitar. It was the first time I really learned how to play guitar and I wanted to write a song with them so I went down to my mom and I said pick a number between 1 and 150 and she picked 5 or something, I can’t really remember the number, but I went and opened up the Bible and there was 150 Psalms already written so I went to the number she chose and wrote a song with that and that kicked off the biggest thing of my life.

The Mexican/Frech  MAXIM model/ Actress, Veronika London who starred in SHOWTIME's TV- Series "Body Language" gives a whole new meaning to provocative "Body Language" in the Bombshell Advertising. This fall she returns to Toronto to shoot horror feature film SICK, where she plays a young scientist. 

Tim Hortons opens in Dubai

The Dubai store is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the main road that spans the country, and is one block from The Canadian University of Dubai. You can see the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, from the restaurant.

The menu is the same as what you'd find here in the Sault, with a few minor differences. There are no Everything Bagels, because they have poppy seeds on them, which are illegal in the UAE due to the fact they contain opium. The menu also features Zaatar Croissants, a local pastry that is filled with herbs.

Apparently Canadians living in Dubai have been mobbing the restaurant since it opened a couple days ago, with lines out the door, turning it into a meeting place for Canucks. Locals, too, are stopping by to see what all the fuss is about, and apparently the Ice Capps are a big seller.

Former Canadian band "The Tea Party" may make a million dollars selling domain name...

Hailing from Windsor Ontario, it seems they faded into oblivion but according to some websites they have have done a few shows. Even lead singer Jeff Martin was quoted as saying "We are the tea party, we will always be here, we are not going anywhere!"

Anyways, the American U.S. political party, THE TEA PARTY wants to buy the domain name...
